The Driving Standards Agency and representatives from the driver training industry agreed that both instructors and the public would be best served by an Official Register of Driving Instructor Trainers ORDIT
The aim of the ORDIT register is to provide quality training by qualified ORDIT Trainers to the driving instructors serving the public.
Rosemary Farrell, proprietor of Happy Hour School of Motoring, was the first female ORDIT Trainer qualified in Scotland. Rosemary then successfully trained her own Instructors to become ORDIT Trainers.
