Legal Obligations

It is the Company, the Training Provider, and the Companys Driver's legal obligations to eliminate any risks.  Forming a partnership will help to take the necessary steps to ensure the training and supervision of employees which should reduce the risk of driving at work.  Working together can be more beneficial to the company and the running of the day to day business.

The Company

Research shows that every week 20 people are killed and a further 250 seriously injured while using a vehicle for work purposes.  The law states that employers must do everything that is "reasonably practicable" to ensure employees health and safety at work.

Could your company prove that they had done everything it could to meet its duty of care?  Doing nothing is no longer an option.  The recent Health and Safety Executive suggest ways to control the risk to drivers at work.  As a company you have a legal responsibility to your employeers.

The Trainer

It is important that you select the correct training organisation.  Always make sure they have the correct qualification required to carry out the training.  Driver training development will improve your employees driving skills and reduce the likelihood of them being involved in a road accident.  Our fully qualified Fleet Driver Trainer specialists can conduct a full audit on your fleet operations to ensure that you comply with the health and safety legislation.  As s fully qualified organisation we can stop your company being put at risk.

The Driver

All employees must take reasonable due care for themselves and any other road users.  Employees must co-operate with their employers to allow legal obligations to be met.  Drivers who cover more than 20,000 miles have a 1 in 8000 chance of a serious or fatal accident.  It is important that the driver does not put themselves, their colleagues, clients or members of the public at risk.

That is why it is important we form a partnership with the company who will take all necessary steps to ensure the training and supervision of their employees at work.  Working together can only improve a happier working environment.
