Happy Hour Instructors will make it their responsibility to ensure that all learner drivers understand the importance of theory and hazard perceptions.
Happy Hour will provide all pupils with free in-class Theory and Hazard Perception training.
In addition to this your Happy Hour Instructor can provide books which are supplied by the DSA:
Why pay for Theory and Hazard Perception training when Happy Hour can provide it for free?
All Happy Hour pupils get their first lesson (1 Hour ) free!
The Driving Standards Agency, who monitor the learner driver industry and control the Driving Test, recommend a complete novice will require in excess of 44 hours of professional driving tuition, with the help of private practice, to pass a Driving Test. The government is determined to reduce the amount of road traffic accidents; therefore, a very high standard of driving is reqired from learners sitting the Driving Test.
Road conditions have changed dramatically in the last 10 years and the volume of traffic has increased greatly. Roads are becoming more complex and within this fast moving industry there will be more changes taking place in the future.
The majority of pupils take their lessons weekly. The advantage of this is that you can concentrate on developing new skills and confidence and as your competence and confidence increase you and your Happy Hour Instructor can agree a time scale for booking and sitting your Driving Test. For those who have a set time scale to pass their test Happy Hour have a number of intensive and semi intensive courses available.
We have three intensive / semi intensive courses:
All Happy Hour pupils are given the first lesson FREE. For those learners who have had lessons before they will be given an assessment to gauge the standard of their driving and the Instructor will then be able to give them a guide to the best course for them.
The courses can be spread over 2, 3, 4 weeks etc, and are tailor made to suit each individual pupil. We can teach a pupil to drive in 1 week, however the training would be very intensive. Unfortunately, since the introduction of the Theory and Hazard Perception Test it is virtually impossible to sit both tests and learn to drive in a week. We suggest spreading the course over 2 or 3 weeks, concentrating more on the free Theory and Hazard Perception training at the beginning of the course. You must pass the Theory and Hazard Perception Test before being able to apply for the practical Driving Test.
“I learned to drive with Happy Hour School of Motoring. I passed my test first time with 2 minor faults. It was a challenging but enjoyable experience. The support from my instructor and the back up from Happy Hour set me in good form and preparation for my driving test. My younger sister is now learning with Happy Hour and we would both highly recommend the company.”
