Compulsory Basic Training
- This is now a legal requirement which every bike rider must complete before riding on the road – it must be carried out by a Training Body which is approved by the DSA.
- The CBT Certificate (DL196) is only valid for 2 years from the date of issue.
- You will need to re-take the CBT if both the theory and practical tests are not passed before the CBT expires.
